There are about eight beautiful local reefs to choose from all within 15 minutes from the Honokohau harbor (our launching point). Most of these snorkeling sites are only accessible from a boat. Shorter boat rides mean more time snorkeling!

Skip the crowds at Kealakekua Bay and snorkel our stunning local sites instead – only accessible by boat. With just a 10 – 15 minute boat ride instead of a 45-minute ride, you’ll spend more time in the water getting up close and personal with the gorgeous fish on one or two of our lovely local reefs. Less time on the water means more time in the water! Discover the volcanic formations and dramatic arches made by past lava flows.
